Rocky Mountain International
As a nice complement to attending major trade shows, Rocky Mountain International and its overseas representatives coordinate and lead international sales missions on behalf of our client states.
Sales missions involve workshops, trainings and presentations conducted by RMI and state personnel to key international wholesale tour operators and retail travel agents. Often times this involves directly visiting the offices of targeted trade industry partners, but can be conducted at a central location as well. The main goal of a sales mission is to educate front line sales staff on the region so they are more knowledgeable and therefore better salesmen, but product development and media relations are accomplished.
This type of marketing activity is one of the best ways for the states to maintain relationships with tour operator and media partners, especially in markets where no major trade shows are available. We are able to stay in close contact with the trade partners that sell the region, review the region, answer specific questions and encourage them to promote our region.
